In iceland, they have a system where they say, the mother gets four months, the father gets four months. In Japan, men can get two years of paid paternity lif because they are so desperate to encourage peop to have childrencause their populations are declining. And in the long run, it's about keeping women in the work force and the productivity gains that come from keeping women in the labor force. There are now more women graduating from university than men world wide. It is amazing when you think about it. They go into the labour market, and they earn the same as men until they have a child. Then once they have a ild, the with the wage gap emerges
