The Importance of Listening
St. Teresa and St. John of the Cross both called Silent Love, a kind of just sitting and receiving from and giving back to God. "I'm more than happy to look at God looking at me in just Silent Love," he says. He believes that listening is at the heart of the Trinity as Father and Son and Spirit all listen to and even defer to one another in love.
