Episode CXXIX - Tiberius Gracchus and the Landless Masses (Gracchi II)

Emperors of Rome

CHAPTER

What Do We Know About Tiberius?

Tiberius was gentle and sedate, while gaius was high strung and vehement. In every single case, he seems to be the opposite of gaius. And i have to say, plutarch is giving a very positive vision of tiberius in this biography. I think that's intentional. It's often we have dealt in this podcast with extremely negative representations of people from the past.
