We have a finite amount of fossil fuels here on earth that we're burning through like crazy. We can save some of that resource, which is why i am not in favour of burning through it faster. One simple thing is just t now shift from using machines that burn fossil fuels to using machines that run on electricity. There's also the entirely different possibility of cleaning up the atmosphere. I'm all in favor of trying to imagine technologies and create them that would cleanup the atmosphere. But if we just keep burning our oil and gas and coal, that will not be, by itself, a solution.

Welcome to the June 2022 Ask Me Anything episode of Mindscape!
