As Consciousness Evolves, There's a Mathematical Correlator
Lucas: I grant that every manifestation of consciousness may have a mathematical correlator. But of course, consciousness itself doesn't evolve. As the content of consciousness evolves, you're suggesting that there is a mathematical formulation of each of its particular forms. And yes, I'm open to that possibility. Whether it's possible to actually discover those or not, there's another matter.
