How High Should Our Government's Debt Be?
At the end of 20 21, after nearly two years of a global pandemic, the debt to g d ratio was estimated at around 137%. That is a huge jump nick from the 75 % louise talked about back in 20 17. So it doesn't sound like there's a casete rule about how high our government's debt should be in proportion to the g d p. We don't really know what level of debt is too high.
