N-Hidwana: A High Priestess and Royal Princess
N-Hidwana is a high priestess and royal princess who lived some 2300 years BCE in what is now southern Iraq. She was the daughter of King Sargon of Akkad who had united these previously independent city-states to create the world's first empire. Her best known poem is the exaltation of Inana, but she would probably have had to deal with revolts or another form of social disruption if she wasn't exiled.
