How to Optimize Ventilation and Profusion Matching
In the most acutely unwell patients, and we're going to titrate oxygen to maintain saturations at between 94 and 98 %. Mechanical ventilation uses a positive pressure system essentially blow down the lungs and then exhale gas back off the chest. But sometimes patient positioning and oxygen delivery alone aren't enough to overcome this respiratory failure. And then we'll need to move things on a level. Tyo will tell us all about it.
