The History of Journalism
At Columbia, you were introduced to an ambitious spirit of journalism. You're taught by these professors who were, in my case, generally, kind of fine. But then if you ever sort of caught them talking about like what they'd ever done, they'd be like, well, you know, that guy uncovered a secret war. So it kind of, some grateful to have had that. I remember buying Rolling Stone or something in New York when I was there and opening it and thinking, this is an entirely different thing. It's like a different thing. And so that was a lot of fun.
