The Resumption of Play Procedure When a Thrower Is Not Made Available
The resumption of play procedure can be used when a team fails to provide a thrower in. The warning for delay is an administrative procedure by an official, which is recorded in the score book and reported to the head coach. If two or more players are huddling in the free throw lane, we have a warning for delay. After a made basket, usually a one, the score will slap the ball and it goes away from the end line. That's a warning fordelay. And last but not least, if both teams continue to delay, a team technical fowl shall be ruled.
