Sam tennes: I want to make one small point, and then, you know, i kind of open up some bigger questions about the mayor's race. One of the things in your new york times magazine piece i thought was interesting is that bill buckley's viciously anti union campaign for mayor s helped out by the strikers of the newpapersta. The idea of it as an andy warhall style performance art of o a political campaign definitely fits with a certain portion of of the campaign. It surprised everyone at some point by its seriousness, the fact that we can look back and say 'we can do something important'
