The Importance of Caricatures
I love the BL I can't wait to get back into my humanities one reading room but when I'm working on specific people it's wherever their archive is so yeah I absolutely love it. The idea of sort of sending yourself up and making a caricature of yourself was also some of the earliest branding as we know it contemporaneously. It really cuts to the heart of how we are now as well in the 21st century that we're all doing that all the time.
