John the Baptizer
Josephus, an external source talking about the figure and he's going to describe him in much more influential terms than we even get in the New Testament. In the New Testament, he is the forerunner to Christ but Josephus doesn't describe him that way. So there's some religious commentary here about what he's understanding baptism to be. It's really fascinating. John was a big deal I guess is one of the things that we should say John wasn't like that every day.
