How to Call in Help if You're Solo

If you're a solo practitioner, consider early calling in anesthesia, surgery or peeds. Mental preparation includes visualization of whatever complex tasks you'll need to do for this trauma patient. Consider ordering up some tests and disblowing some patients if you have time so that your ED isn't a total disaster after you've dealt with the patient.
