Is God's Calling the Cosmos Into Being Ex Nihilo From Nothing?

The idea that because we are made for eternity somehow we need to transcend time or our faith is something that helps us to transcend time. I don't think God's invitation to live into that Trinitarian life is ever an invitation to become less than human. The fullness of being human is a life that has lived in history throughout time experiencing seasons. And what does it look like to receive that as a good thing as a gift?
