Via Negativity Is Not Just a Heuristic for Eliminating Bad Practices
via negativa is not just a way of eliminating bad practices it's actually a heuristic for avoiding bad choices to begin with. When you are pruned when you're focused on being a fruit bearing member of the body of Christ you don't have room for extra baggage or little shoots coming off of you that aren't doing anything. So if you can eliminate even just the quantity of different things you're doing and especially eliminate the things that are not contributing to the goals you have remove them, through negativa will help you bear those sweet sweet fruits.
