The Importance of Capitalism

Moore is often accused of taking capital's viewpoint. But I think maybe what he is more getting at is that capital does its thing and it does it by restructuring the biosphere. Whatever the crisis is, it doesn't care. It has a subjectivity of its own that is alien and driven towards a malign purpose. And yes, we think that when all the trees disappear that's a bad thing but it doesn't give a shit.
