Did the Covey Riders Ever Get Shot at and Shot Down?

Covey Riders were former SF men that had been in country for eight or nine months and then they would be signed to Covey Riders. They would have to spot the team either through smoke or mirror or from a location. Most of the times it'd be signal mirror that we'd flashy up to them. But once they got to doing actual coverage, they would come down really low and sometimes nap in the earth stuff. And there's O2. There's slow movers. The little push-pull. It seems like those... I can't imagine being the Covey Rider in this one for our team, Maryland. You're basically watching your guys get overrun. Rough.
