The Importance of Relationship in Leadership
I think a lot of us, including me, have to practice or learn how to leverage kind of that focal shift. Do we talk a lot about expert and chief or catalyst and right now? Catalyst focuses on those people, the people doing the work. And so you're talking about relationship and developing relationship, developing trust. Again, it's a more sustainable, more effective solution in the long term but it does feel slower at first.
