Lingerie is like a pretty, I mean, I don't know. There's a lot of social conditioning around lingerie. And yet they exist. So fetish refers actually specifically to an object. Most of the things we would refer to as like fetishes are in fact, paraphilias. That's the broad term for like atypical sexual preferences of any kind.
