Is Marriage Boredom a Real Thing?
The church needs to be better able to normalize the struggle in marriage, she says. Marriage exposes your immaturities where you struggle to love your spouse and often dislikes aspects of you aren't that likable. There's a lot there to learn in the context of monogamy because it pressures your growth into a better person. The roll model is more immature from us but also allows us to create more real happiness in marriage. It would really help people, i think, to value the process that they're going through with their partner.
