Is God's Footstool the Ark or the Earth?

The tabernacle is a mini version of God being enthroned in the heavens with the earth as his footstool. The lamb stand has also been seen by biblical scholars as a symbol of the tree of life from the Garden of Eden, especially given that the lamb stand arms are buds and branches. In the tabernacle, the curse is reversed and Eden is regained. At least Israel is given a glimpse of how it was all meant to be, had things not gone so wrong in the first place.
