I 'm not a nihilist when it comes to human nature, but i do think there is an inherent aspect of tragedy that involves human nature. We're always constantly crashing a narrative of our own selves that suits our purpose, and readjusting things in our past to suit that purpose. And so then i think that we kind of grow like crab, like we're hardening our shells with this sort of self deceptiond.
