American College of Sports Medicine guidelines for sodium intake for athletes without high blood pressure is to increase sodium intake by 500 milligrams and the meal before a workout and the meal after workout. The idea that you're replenishing your sodium even though that has not been shown to change, you're still going to be hyponatremic after you work out any, just it doesn't matter.
