Is the Expansion of Nato of Such Importance for the United States?
M ken waltz, a structural realist international relations theorists. Wrote an article in two thousand called structural realism oft the end of the cold war. He saing this is why America has kept nato. The original purpose of nato was to keep the russians out, the germans down, and the americans in. But i would argue that nato remains as a vehicle of American power. And one at wusa is really interesting. It basically said, we are in alliance against uncertainty. Really, you know, fishing around for to try and justify itself.
