The Relationship Between Knowing and Knowing

When people defend the idea that knowing, an inter personal knowledge, is a symmetrical relationship, they call attention to the fact that most of the time our relationship consists of reciprocal reactions. I take you in as some one who is saying things to which i have to respond in some way, and you take me in in that way. So i think what we are after when we are talking about inter personal knowledge as this reciprocal relationship, is that in most cases, this is what we can develop when we face other subjects. But undeniably, some people fall short of that ideal. And to that extent, they will know me to some extent.
