The Temple Mount Walls Go Back a Thousand Years

The western wall is a retaining wall that would have held the temple mount. It was about two thousand years, to the time of herod or jesus. Non moslems are not allowed to actively recite prayers on the temple mounts. The only one you can use is the gate right next to the temple mount and non moslems have very restricted access.
