Al salvador is a developing country. It's the smallest and most densely pulated in central america. About half of its people live in the countryside, and many don't have electricity or running water. Up until now, the country's only currency has been the us Dollar. Nelson rowed as an investigative journalist for a new sight called el faro. And to him, like so many others, this came out of nowhere.
