Evolution of a Chair

The idea of reusing information in a regular pattern, it's everywhere in the animal kingdom. We're basically stealing secrets from mother nature to make robots that look like natural animals running around on cheetahs. And so if you use these principles for designing a robot controller, then what you get is beautiful computational gates and robots that look a lot like natural animals. It's very intuitive and quite kind of fun to play around withIf you try just designing a genome and seeing all these populations of agents and what they do. It's pretty cool formalism.
