Milton's Rise to Power
In 1642, Milton gets married. His first wife was the daughter of a man who owed Milton's father money and hadn't really been paying up since the 1620s. They were married quite rapidly. And Mary Powell moved from her noisy, busy house with a bunch of family into Milton's quiet apartment home that had been set up for studious retirement. So this process is and he's sort of gradually rising to prominence. You can almost imagine Cromwell's rise to to prominence on the battlefield and as a military commander.
