Non native teachers of english are often the best coaches, because they've been there and done it themselves. Some of my best teaching experiences are ones where i worked with fellower fellow teachers who were not from the u k. I had really good, really nourishing teaching experiences working with these colleagues of mine. And also, even though i should confess that being a native a speak, of course, is an advantage, at a great advantage. So for example, maybe in academic English, five years from now, that i have studied in english, i will be a better academicEnglish teacher.
