The Principle of Humility in the Lord of the Rings

In the Lord of the Rings, those who lose the self save it and those who save it lose it is that Middle Earth is our Earth. Another form of self sacrifice is humility. Only hobbits, not men or elves or wizards, could get into Mordor. The single force most responsible for winning the War of the Ring is Sam's friendship and love of Frodo.
