The Power of Grief
I think most of what it has been for me has been grief work, memory work. We all are connected by this whole colonial legacy of anti-blackness that has created laws that criminalize our being. The person at Opel who says, every day, they are doing their work of appreciating and beholding their being queer is quite work. I just always hope that any person doing that work can find space, time, nourishment to do and to sustain that work.
