Solsenitsen was an atheistic communist when he first entered the camps. Tolkin's simorilian stories are like the modern bible in a way,. i'm seeing all this, and i'm thinking it is basically what you'd expect if you deal with great mythological themes at the bottom of your story. Soim: It's not a critique of anybody who's drawing on mythology for their narratives. You have to do that to be a good story teller. But it's nice to go as close to the source as you can
