Rool's Principles for a Fair Society

Rool says the veil of ignorance itself ensures fairness. What these people should be asking is what, in their selfish interest, they would want. He doesn't say that you as an individual have a moral duty to make the worst off as well as possible. So there could be opera if people wanted and prepared to pay for it. But how does it cash out? Does it mean there won't be opera? People won't be able to go on holiday to the Bahamas.
