The Holy Ghost Descending as a Dove
The name Jonah is connected to these rebirth images and moments in a way that according to Joseph Smith seems to be set so that the adversary cannot replicate it or repeat it. I want to bring up a doctrinal point that to me is kind of interesting: We sometimes talk about baptism as having our sins washed away. But scripturally, I think it sounds more like the Holy Ghost is the cleanser. That's why I really appreciate that Joseph Smith saying, if you baptize someone and don't give them the Holy Ghost, that's half of baptism.
