Human Genome Editing - The Third International Summit
This is the third international summit of human genome editing. The last one in 2018 was in Hong Kong and it was dominated by Hirsch An-Kwe. He described twin girls he had brought into the world edited to protect them from HIV. Organiser Robin Level Badge says that gene editing on live, ill patients without involving babies is much more important than before. But there's still lots of challenges to overcome - especially for poorer countries.
