Christmas in Cypres

In cypress christmas has been a secondary holiday to easter in the greek orthodox church, which is the predominant religion here. The town itself arranges a drive on a saturday night, where you get to drive round and look at all the houses that are lit up. There's more light now than i think i've ever seen. I don't know if that's reaction to the pandemic, but there dus seemd to be a sort of stronger engagement with it.
