Walt Nauta, who had the world's easiest get out of jail free card, chose not to play it. Instead he decided that he was going to do two very stupid things. If he hadn't have said anything, then all of his Section 1001 indictments would not exist. He might be indicted for other things, but he would not be indicted for saying false things because you have to say something in order to say false things.
