Is There a Cause of PCOS?
Sally Kohn was diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome in R15. PCOS is caused by an excess of male hormones called Androgen, G-E-N. It's so interesting how things just go undiagnosed or underdiagnosed. We treat people completely differently based on whether we've got a diagnosis or not.
