The Fat Man and the Trolley Problem

In the 1980s, an American philosopher called Judith Jarvis-Thompson comes up with a parallel case with the trolleys. She imagines that once again, the train is out of control and going down the track. It's going to kill five people who are tied to the track ahead of it. The only thing that will stop the train or the trolley is the fat man. And the question is, should you push the fat man? But in the first case, 90% of people were not pushed to the fat man so the statistics are completely reversed.
