John Rawls, arguably the greatest political philosopher since John Stuart Millen Karl Marx. He arrived at principles of justice using a thought experiment that's quite like the one by which baseball players would arrive at fair rules for a baseball game. So how does Rawls tinker with this to set up a justice of rules? And what does some of those rules look like? The rules of justice that are appropriate for society are those that would be arrived at by a fair agreement.
