How to Write a Biography for the Wife of Bath?

The wife of Bath is the only character in Chaucer's Canterbury Tales I'd want to see what about. She has a tremendously long afterlife, so she became somebody who took on life beyond the page and was remade by later writers. The approach of the biography for this particular character works so well because it asks how did she come to be? What are her textual and cultural and historical origins? But then what is the life that she goes on to live for the 600 years after Chaucer's death?
