The Rise of AI and Autistic Masking
The rise of AI has really shifted the way that I understand autistic masking because a big source of confusion often, especially early in my relationship with Malcolm about like our, our behavior and social settings was that he and I would be totally on the same page in private. And then in public, I would like do shit, like throw him under the bus. So I feel like AI has helped me to understand why in social situations, I sometimes do things like that, but also why it's sort of exhausting.
