Aaron Carroll: Evangelical default is to be suspicious of our own motivation, desires. He says we have an allergic reaction to ambition because there's some good ambitions. Carroll: Every organization, every human society has an elite. There will be elites. And if we're critical of elites, we must be willing to become them.
