The Difference Between the Best Thought and Your Everyday Versions of Christianity

I quite as an Augustan this morning in my sermon to six people. I often say to like friends um like particularly friends who are struggling there's a difference between the best thought in a tradition and your everyday versions of it that everyday. This is in every tradition this isn't just in Christianity it's in all of them. You have the best thought the one that cohes like the thinkers that have put it all together and articulate it beautifully and then you have your everyday expressions of it.
