The Clay Brick Facade Is About to Topple Outward
The city of Davenport just released a proposal from the engineering company dated May 24th. The collapse happened again last Sunday on May 28th, four days earlier. Four days before this partial collapse, work was underway to fix the facade and wall issues. One masonry contractor who did not work on the building but did put in a bid on it says he saw evidence of a big problem when he was inside a few months ago.
