The Role of Expectations in Emotional Abuse
There is a large proportion of women who face coercive control more than men. The data shows that 95% of people who faced this kind of emotional abuse or control are women from men in a lot of cases. I think it is also because when women stand up for themselves or say or express their opinions in a strong way, they are very quickly labeled aggressive or angry. And we think attack on political autonomy around the world has intersectional elements to it.
