How to Quit Hypoxic
Jared: I bonked on lookout mountain, uh, two weeks ago because I ran into lunch and he's in the parking lot. And we started right up. We just went right up into 300 Watts. He was hypoxic, which means altitude sickness. Not enough oxygen to your brain. The only way to get out of a hypoxic state to deal with out these exists is to drop. So it's either that or 20 miles to finish, uh, to finish the race. It wasn't just a physical experience for me but also one of the hardest things I've ever done.
