The Real Layer of the Cosmos

There are several dwarf galaxies closer, not even including many inside our own galactic main body. Pisces A is an example of a void dwarf galaxy and is about 18.4 million light-years away. We need to keep in mind that while I am in the Council of Giants this would be our first real galactic target. Rather than just trying to reach out to those further galaxies, we should ask whether we're hopping from one place to another as we often imagine with interstellar colonization.
